DOGE transaction volume had reached fantastic numbers, namely $60 billion (around IDR 1,008 trillion) on November 13, 2024. But sooner or later, the euphoria wears off. 

By the end of March 2025, DOGE's daily volume is just below $3 billion (around IDR 50.4 trillion)—down 90%! In fact, this April, the total volume of DOGE transactions has just reached $5 billion (around IDR 84 trillion).

This decline cannot be separated from a combination of technical and external factors. One of them is President Donald Trump's new tariff policy, which has shaken the global crypto market. 

As a result, many long-term investors chose to leave. Data from Coinglass even notes that of the total liquidation value of $4 million (around IDR 67.2 billion) last Sunday, 80% of it came from long positions that were forced to close.

DOGE Price Analysis

DOGE's price journey since the beginning of this year has been quite volatile. DOGE opened at a price of $0.1696 (around Rp. 2,851), then experienced a slight increase before slowly falling again. 

At its lowest point, DOGE touched $0.130 (around IDR 2,184), where the RSI indicator showed that the coin had entered the oversold zone.

Technical movements show a death cross formation on the MACD indicator, which strengthens the bearish signal. Even though there was a golden cross which gave hope of a trend reversal, in fact DOGE still had difficulty breaking through resistance at $0.152 (around Rp. 2,553). 

Today's DOGE price is around $0.15 (around Rp. 2,543), and is still looking for a strong enough foothold to rise again.

Even though market conditions appear gloomy, not all analysts are pessimistic. Trader Tardigrade, a well-known crypto analyst on social media X, sees DOGE's current movement pattern as similar to the 2016 and 2021 cycles. 

He predicts DOGE has the potential to soar up to $2.1 (approximately Rp. 35,280), or up 1,500% from current levels—if the technical scenario goes according to plan.

Additionally, other analysts such as BitGuru point to healthy consolidation in the zone $0.155 (approximately Rp. 2,604) which could be a strong foothold for DOGE to return to $0.17 (approximately Rp. 2,856). 

If the price is able to break through this resistance, DOGE even has the opportunity to retest the zone $0.18 to $0.20 (approx. Rp. 3,024–Rp. 3,360) before the end of this month.

However, if selling pressure increases again and support at $0.155 is broken, the opposite scenario could occur. DOGE has the potential to fall to critical levels $0.13 or even $0.11 (around Rp. 2,184–Rp. 1,848)—erasing all gains since October 2024.
