Ahead of listing, the Marina Protocol team is currently in the discussion stage with several exchanges regarding listing evaluation, schedule, and necessary technical preparations.

Marina Protocol targets listing BAY tokens on crypto exchanges in Q1 or early Q2 this year. If there are changes to the schedule, the development team will provide information in advance.

Marina Protocol Listing and TGE

Apart from Marina Protocol listing, this project is also in the final stages of testing for the Token Generation Event (TGE) and the process of converting points to BAY tokens. 

One of the features coming soon is Surfboard, which will allow users to earn BAY tokens via SURF tokens. The launch of the Surfboard feature will occur first, followed by TGE and token conversion. 

Marina Protocol Listing: XRPL Grant Evaluation

Ahead of Marina Protocol listing, the project is also applying for an XRPL Grant to support the focus on token rewards and utility in the XRPL ecosystem. 

XRPL is a network that focuses on global payments and remittances, so it is in line with Marina Protocol's vision. Final evaluation for this grant is scheduled for February. 

If passed, this funding will be a stepping stone for further development, especially in increasing rewards for users and expanding the use of BAY tokens in various applications.

Marina Protocol Listing: Fundraising and Private Sale

Marina Protocol is also in discussions with several investors for a Private Sale, but is very selective in choosing investors. 

This project only accepts parties who have an aligned long-term vision. Investors who only aim to sell tokens immediately after Marina Protocol listing will be excluded. 

In addition, if there are remaining BAY tokens that are not sold in the Private Sale, these tokens will be burned immediately. This step aims to maintain price stability and avoid excessive selling pressure.

As part of preparations for Marina Protocol listing, the project is also updating the whitepaper. This update includes revisions to the tokenomics structure as well as Surfboard mechanics.

The total token supply is currently 1 billion BAY, but the Marina Protocol team is committed to continuing to burn BAY tokens and use profits from advertising to maintain the balance of the ecosystem.
