Bittime: RWA Interest Rises in Indonesia, Ondo Finance Highlights Key Growth Drivers

Jakarta, August 12, 2026 – Bittime, a Digital Financial Asset Trader (PAKD) licensed and supervised by Indonesia's Financial Services Authority (OJK), recorded an increase in Tokenized US Stocks transactions in July 2026 compared to the previous month. 

The trend reflects growing interest among Indonesian investors in blockchain-based global investment products and aligns with the continued expansion of the global Real World Assets (RWA) market. 

Rania Rahardja, Senior Director of Asia Pacific at Ondo Finance, said the global stablecoin supply has now reached approximately US$300 billion, while the RWA market has grown to around US$30 billion. According to her, this growth provides a strong foundation for the expansion of tokenized assets, including Tokenized US Stocks.

Growing Interest in RWA Among Indonesian Investors

According to Rania, the growth of the RWA market is being driven by changing investor behavior. Rather than focusing solely on high returns, investors are becoming more selective and are paying closer attention to transparency, security, and the quality of the underlying assets. 

"Investors are becoming more aware of where yields come from and how assets are managed. The growth of stablecoins has also paved the way for the tokenization of other assets, including US Treasuries and US equities," said Rania.

She believes Indonesia has significant potential to become one of Southeast Asia's key markets for RWA. In her view, regulatory clarity plays a crucial role in building investor confidence while creating room for innovation in the digital asset industry.

"Indonesia has taken a relatively progressive regulatory approach compared to several other Southeast Asian markets. The presence of licensed digital asset platforms demonstrates the regulator's commitment to building a healthy ecosystem while giving investors greater confidence to access innovations such as Tokenized US Stocks," she added.

Bittime Expands Access to Tokenized US Stocks
