DOGS Holds Voting on Unclaimed DOGS Tokens

Bittime - Project DOGS holds a vote to determine how to handle unclaimed DOGS tokens.

Unclaimed DOGS Token Voting Options

In this vote, DOGS provides 3 options to community members to determine the fate of unclaimed DOGS tokens. Here are the three options:

1. Burning tokens: Unclaimed DOGS tokens will be destroyed and permanently removed from circulation.  

2. Donate tokens to charities: Unclaimed DOGS tokens can be donated to charities in need.

3. Adding to project cash: Unclaimed DOGS tokens can be used to fund future projects, such as platform improvements or new features.

Impact of Each DOGS Token Voting Option

Each option offered has a different impact on the DOGS ecosystem and ecosystem.

1. Burning Token: If the majority chooses to burn unclaimed DOGS tokens, then DOGS tokens will be removed from the circulating supply. This option can increase rarity. As the number of tokens in circulation decreases, the value of remaining tokens may increase.  

2. Donate tokens to charities: If the majority chooses to donate unclaimed DOGS tokens, for DOGS tokens will later be given to parties who need them. However, the donated tokens will not be distributed immediately, but will be locked and will be released gradually over one year. 

3. Add to project cash: If the majority chooses to add unclaimed DOGS tokens to the project treasury, then DOGS tokens can be used for project development. Like donated tokens, tokens used for development will also be locked and released gradually over a year.
