Mantle Announces $COOK Token Distribution and Puff Project

Bittime - Mantle announced a series of important updates regarding the distribution of the $COOK token and the Puff project, a meme coin in the Mantle ecosystem. This update includes details of token distribution, NFT issuance, and tokenomics adjustments.

One of the highlights of this latest announcement is the distribution of $COOK tokens. The total supply of $COOK is 5 billion tokens, and as much as 15% of this amount will be distributed in various ecosystem development campaigns. Following are the details of the $COOK token distribution.

1. Puff Community: The Puff community will receive a total of 6% of the total $COOK tokens. 5% will be distributed generally and 1% will be given to Puff NFT holders.
2. MNT Strikers: A total of 4% of $COOK tokens will be distributed to users who lock their MNT tokens at Mantle Rewards Station.
3. Season 1 Methamorphosis: 5% of $COOK tokens will be distributed to Season 1 participants from Methamorphosis.

NFT Puff Minting

To further strengthen the community, Puff will launch NFT issuance on July 29. A total of 8,888 NFTs will be minted, including 8,487 classic NFTs and 301 legendary NFTs. This is an important step in providing added value and incentives to community members participating in the Mantle ecosystem.

Tokenomics Adjustment

Puff also announced several important adjustments in tokenomics, which include airdrops and token conversion mechanisms.

1. Last Airdrop: A final airdrop of $25 million in Puffs has taken place, with $21 million allocated to Potions and $4 million to Vials.
2. Token Locking: A total of 300 million Puff tokens, which is 1/3 of the total supply, will be locked indefinitely.
3. $Puff Conversion Mechanism: Users have the option to convert their $Puff tokens to $COOK, or keep holding $Puff. This mechanism provides flexibility to users in managing their assets in the Mantle ecosystem.
