On Thursday, the price of XRP reached a peak of $3.38, just $0.02 away from the previous ATH record of $3.40 in January 2018. Although it later dropped slightly to $3.30, XRP still recorded a daily gain of 10%. 

In the past week, the value of XRP has surged by 45%, reflecting extremely positive market sentiment towards this asset. This increase in the price of XRP is not the first in recent months. 

After recording huge growth in November and December, XRP has now surged by 560% since the US Election on November 5.
