Important of Dogecoin Trailmap
Last August, the Dogecoin Foundation signed the “Dogecoin Manifesto” which emphasized that Dogecoin is a crypto asset “of the people, by the people, and for the people.”
This manifesto is designed to capture the community's vision, namely creating crypto assets that can be used for everyday needs, such as buying coffee or paying rent.
The main principle of the Manifesto is utility. The Dogecoin Foundation believes that the more useful an asset is, the higher its adoption.
In Dogecoin Trailmap, this is summarized in a simple principle, namely:
- Utility → Adoption (Utility generates adoption).
With a focus on utility, Dogecoin aims to be a universal crypto asset accessible to everyone, without centralized control. This is in line with the initial vision of cryptocurrency as a simple and reliable global transaction tool.

Project in Dogecoin Trailmap
Over the past 8 years, Dogecoin has relied heavily on Bitcoin C++/QT-based desktop wallets.
However, with technological developments and increasingly mobile transaction needs, these wallets are starting to become outdated. Dogecoin Trailmap also offers solutions by integrating modern features such as the following.
1. GigaWallet Project: A back end solution that enables payment service providers, game developers, and social platforms to quickly integrate Dogecoin.
2. Dogecoin Keyring App & SDK: This application and toolkit allows Dogecoin users to manage their assets securely while still being able to transact via the mobile application.
Even though they have just started, the projects in the Dogecoin Trailmap are already starting to show progress.
Apart from that, in the coming months, more details about these projects will also be released.
