Justin Sun, founder of TRON, has announced that his team is building a gas fee-free stablecoin solution to allow everyone to exchange money with each other for free.

In the fourth quarter, Sun expects to integrate its stablecoin solution on the TRON blockchain. This will be followed by the Ethereum public chain and others compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine soon after.

TRON's solution could compete with PayPal's PYUSD, which provides free cross-border payments to certain US users. Through Coinbase Wallet, free transfers can also be made on Ethereum layer-2 Base.

Perhaps because Circle and crypto asset exchange Binance recently removed support for USDC on TRON, this prompted TRON to create their own solution.
